Chucky Goes to Military School?! Child's Play 3 Thoughts

Okay, so last night me and the squad watched Child's Play 3. I gotta say, it's... something. Definitely not as good as the first two, imo. I mean, Chucky in a military academy? It's a ridiculous concept, but somehow it's also kinda entertaining in a so-bad-it's-good way? Like, the whole thing with him trying to transfer his soul into that little Tyler kid felt a little too similar to the second movie, ya know? Andy finally going full teen was interesting but he seemed kinda bland. The whole paintball war scene was probably the most memorable part, ngl. So cheesy but fun. And let's talk about the ending! The funhouse! Definitely upped the stakes again, but I feel it was a little too long. I was rooting for Andy and Kristen (the girlfriend!) so hard, but the whole giant fan death was...oddly hilarious? Not sure if that was the intention, lol. I think my biggest issue is just that it felt like they were trying too hard to recapture the magic of the first one. It lacked that creepy, unsettling vibe and leaned more into slapstick comedy, which isn't necessarily bad, but not what I was hoping for. Overall, Child's Play 3 is a fun watch if you're looking for some cheesy, 90s horror. Don't expect anything groundbreaking, but it does have some entertaining moments. I'd give it like, a 6/10? What did you guys think if you've seen it? Oh PS - did anyone else think Chucky's hair looked extra ridiculous in this one? I swear it got poofier with every movie.
