Cooler's Revenge: Honestly? Made Me CRY (a little)

Okay, so I just rewatched "Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge" and I'm an emotional wreck. I know, I know, it's DBZ, big muscles punching each other. But something about this movie just gets to me, especially now that I'm… older, let's say. First off, Cooler. I know he’s just a villain, but he’s so damn cold (pun intended, sorry). His calm, calculated way of just wanting revenge for his family… it hits different. And when Goku's protecting Gohan? Forget about it, instant tears. The scene where Goku's all beat up, but still trying to push Cooler's attack away from Gohan? Ugh, my heart. Gohan's terrified little face just kills me. Like, I know Goku always wins, but for a hot second, I genuinely thought he was done for. And the animation during the final fight? AMAZING! The Super Saiyan transformation gets me every time. I will say, the henchmen were kinda… eh. Salza was okay, but the other two were forgettable. And the whole "healing Dende" bit felt a little rushed, like they needed a Deus Ex Machina and just threw it in there. Still, overall, I loved it. Definetly worth a rewatch if you wanna feel things, even if those things are 'protect the planet' and 'family is everything'. Anyone else feel the same? Or am I just a big softie? Let me know in the comments!
