Out for Justice: Still the Most Brooklyn Movie Ever Made?

Alright, action junkies, let's talk Out for Justice. Straight up, I know it's got some flaws, and maybe it ain't gonna win any Oscars, but for pure, uncut Brooklyn attitude, I'm not sure it's ever been topped. Steven Seagal as Gino Felino just feels right, y'know? He's not some Hollywood pretty boy pretending to be tough; he's got that hard-edged, seen-it-all look that just screams Bensonhurst. What gets me is the hand-to-hand, the brutality of it. Forget CGI explosions and wire-fu, this is Seagal just wrecking dudes with believable, bone-crunching moves. Remember that pool hall scene? The way he spins that cue ball into that guys teeth is awesome! And William Forsythe as Richie Madano...man, that guy is a psychopath! He's truly terrifying, a perfect villain. But, I gotta ask, I've heard rumors about some of the stunts being legit dangerous – like Seagal actually getting hit a couple of times during the fight scenes. Anyone know if that's true? It would explain why they look so damn real. Seriously, though, beyond the violence, there's something about the neighborhood vibe that really shines. The small-time crooks, the old Italian guys hanging out on the corner...it all feels authentic, like you're actually there. Which leads me to my actual question: what's your favourite fight scene and why? I love the pool hall but Richie's apartment is savage! I know a lot of people trash Seagal, but for a pure adrenaline rush, Out for Justice still delivers. Am I alone in thinking this is a seriously underrated action flick, or are there other Brooklyn-based action movies that give it a run for its money? Let me know!
