Rock-A-Doodle: Am I the ONLY One Who Thinks It's Underrated?

Okay, alright, hear me out before you all grab your pitchforks. Rock-A-Doodle. Yeah, that Rock-A-Doodle. The one everyone seems to collectively forget exists. I just re-watched it on a whim (don't ask why, I have my reasons), and honestly, is it just me or is this thing way better than its reputation suggests? Like, sure, the animation's a bit... '90s direct-to-video-ish in places, but the energy! The sheer chaotic energy of that movie! Goldie Wilson alone is worth the price of admission, and don't even get me started on the Elvis rooster. Come on! And the songs? Look, I know it's trying way too hard to be "hip" with the whole rockabilly thing, but some of those tracks are genuinely catchy. Plus, Glen Campbell as Chanticleer? Underrated casting choice if you ask me. He sells the naive rooster thing perfectly. Everyone rags on the plot, saying it's some disjointed fever dream, but I kinda dug the weirdness? Like, it commits to its own internal logic, however warped that may be. Maybe it's nostalgia goggles, I'll admit it. But seriously, does anyone else kinda think Rock-A-Doodle is a diamond in the rough? Or am I just completely alone on this cartoon island? I'm curious about what everyone else thinks about it. And by the way, I really hate the way they use the sun for symbolism. Could have been more creative in my opinion.
