Passenger 57: Is it just me, or is Wesley Snipes so cool?

Okay, so last night we had a total 90s movie night and I decided to revisit Passenger 57. I hadn't seen it in ages, but I remembered loving it as a kid. I mean, what's not to love? Wesley Snipes kicking butt on a plane full of bad guys! My kids (8 and 10) were surprisingly into it too. There's some violence, of course, but nothing too graphic. Definitely nothing I wouldn't let them see in a Marvel movie, ya know? I forgot how much I enjoyed Bruce Payne as Charles Rane. He's such a slimy bad guy. The whole setup with the plane hijacking felt a bit dated, maybe because we're so much more aware of airline security now, but it still held my attention. And Wesley Snipes... honestly, the man is just pure charisma. Every line delivery is perfect. Remember when he says, "Always bet on black?" Iconic! Thinking about it, it's a pretty simple action movie, but sometimes that's exactly what you want. What do you guys think? Did it hold up, or is my nostalgia blinding me? I'm wondering if maybe it's the nostalgia talking for me, cause there are definately some cheesy moments lol. Plus, let's be honest, seeing that airplane interior just sent me straight back to childhood family vacations. Anyone else get hit with a wave of retro vibes watching this one?
