Hellraiser III: Okay, Hear Me Out...

Alright, alright, before you all sharpen your hooks and drag me to the Labyrinth, I gotta ask... Am I the ONLY one who kinda... likes Hellraiser III? I know, I know, blasphemy. But seriously, is it that bad? Everyone seems to universally hate on it, calling it the point where the franchise REALLY went off the rails (as if 2 wasn't already a bit wonky, lol). I get it, the setting change is jarring. From claustrophobic S&M dungeons to a cheesy nightclub in NYC? Yeah, that's a tonal shift. But Pinhead running amok in the 'real world' had a certain appeal to me, okay? The CD Cenobite? Dumb. Absolutely dumb. But the Camerahead? That was inventive! And Claire Higgins is always good, even if her plotline makes zero sense sometimes. Maybe I'm just a sucker for schlocky '90s horror. My question is, beyond the obvious cheesiness and the way it deviates from the original vision, what specifically makes Hellraiser III so universally reviled? Is it just the over-the-top gore? The obvious attempts to cash in on the franchise? Or is there something deeper I'm missing? I'm genuinely curious to hear some reasoned (or even unreasonable!) arguments. Maybe I'm wrong and I've been blinded by nostalgia. What are your thoughts? What specific scene made you rage quit the whole movie?
