I rewatched it recently and I still laugh my ass off. Total guilty pleasure, but I ain't ashamed. What's the quote? "Be excellent to each other!" Nah, wait wrong movie, hold on... ah! Then the prom scene? Forget about it! He's just swinging from the rafters. Honestly, it’s pure 90s cheese, but it's aged like a fine... cheese that's still kinda cheesy. I think the underlying thing is just how well Pauly and Brendan work together. Like, you can tell they were actually having fun making this, and that energy is contagious. I know it's not some high art film, but sometimes you just need to watch something that makes you laugh without thinking too hard. Plus, it's a time capsule of 90s fashion and slang.
