Single White Female: Okay, That Roommate is Nightmare Fuel

Okay, I finally watched Single White Female and I'm officially sleeping with the lights on. Like, wow. I knew it was supposed to be creepy but… Hedra is next level. Jennifer Jason Leigh just NAILS that slow burn from insecure and clingy to full-blown psycho. The scene where she's like, recreating Allison's hair? Chills. Pure chills. And the dog thing? I actually gasped out loud. Poor Sammy! It was so sad. Like, I'm pretty sure I gripped my blanket so tight my knuckles went white, to be honest, lol. And Bridget Fonda?! She's so good as Allison, you really feel her slow realization that something is seriously wrong. I was screaming at the TV for her to get Hedra OUT. Like, girl, red flags EVERYWHERE! I genuinely felt heartbroken when she found that her boyfriend had been sleeping with Hedra, it was as if I was in the movie, screaming at the main characters not to make bad decisions. I gotta admit, the ending was kind of predictable, but still super intense. The whole apartment fight scene? Whew. My heart was pounding. I was kind of yelling at Allision to just GO, leave the apartment, but I understand that it's hard to make rationale decisions in the moment. Overall, definitely a nail-biter. Not sure I'd watch it alone again anytime soon, though. Anyone else get majorly creeped out by this one? What was the scariest part for you?
