Police Story 3: Supercop - Did Jackie Chan ACTUALLY levitate?! (kinda serious)

Okay, so I just re-watched Police Story 3: Supercop (which, btw, is seriously underrated action gold) and I have a theory, okay, maybe 'crackpot idea' is more accurate. But hear me out! Remember that scene where Jackie is dangling from the helicopter ladder and then Michelle Yeoh jumps onto the ladder, and they BOTH end up being pulled along by the helicopter? Like, come ON! I know it's a movie, but the way they make it seem effortless. Is it just camera trickery or wire work? Or... is it possible Jackie Chan kind of levitated a little bit? I mean, the guy doesn't age, right? Maybe he's got some hidden chi power we don't know about. I'm not saying he's a legit wizard or anything, but the sheer athleticism mixed with the way they play up the physics-defying stunts in his movies... it makes you wonder! Maybe he's tapping into some kind of ancient martial art secret that lets him bend the rules of gravity just a tiny bit. And Michelle Yeoh is also amazing, but I always feel like Jackie's the one pushing the limits of what's possible in those old Hong Kong action flicks. I mean, the whole movie is over the top, the action is insane, the stunts are just...WOW?! Also, let's be REAL, even if it's ALL wires and clever editing – which, let's be honest, it mostly is – the dedication and the commitment to those stunts is what makes it so awesome. It's not just mindless action; it's like watching performance art where the medium is bone-crunching kicks and explosions. So maybe 'levitation' is stretching it a bit, but there's definitely something kinda magical about how Jackie Chan pulls off those insane stunts. Right? Anyway, that's my crazy theory for the day. What do you guys think? Am I totally off my rocker, or is there a hint of truth to the Jackie Chan levitation possibility? Let me know in the comments! (P.S. If anyone knows the stunt coordinator for that scene, PLEASE ask them!)
