"Jennifer Eight": Anyone Else Think This Movie Is WILDLY Underrated?

Okay, so I just finished watching "Jennifer Eight" again (it was on late, sue me). I know it's not, like, some super famous flick, but man, Andy Garcia's performance as John Berlin is just so good. The whole vibe of him being this big city cop thrown into a tiny town where everyone thinks he's crazy is just chef's kiss. Especially when he starts being all obsessive about the "Jennifer" connection with the victims... I can totally see why the other cops are rolling their eyes, lol. But seriously, Uma Thurman. Playing a blind witness? That's hardcore, right? I really bought the whole vulnerability and then the subtle strength she shows as she starts helping Berlin. Remember that scene where she describes the killer's hands? Creepy AF. And the twist ending? I totally didn't see that coming the first time I watched it. Maybe its not a perfect movie but it has some serious suspense. Why don't people talk about this one more? Is it too slow-burn for modern audiences or something? I feel like if it came out today, it would be all over the true crime podcasts. I mean, okay, the director is unknown. Someone messed their imdb entry up. I just like the movie, ok? Anyway, anyone else out there a "Jennifer Eight" fan? Am I alone in thinking this is a seriously underappreciated thriller? Hit me up with some thoughts!
