End of Days: Is Jericho a Secret Angel?

Alright, so I just finished watching End of Days (yeah, I know I'm late to the party). I gotta say, it was way more…something than I expected. I went in expecting a cheesy 90s action flick with Arnold, but I left kinda thinking about some weird, like, theological stuff? Okay, bear with me. I'm not like, a religious scholar lol. So, Jericho Cane (Arnold's character) is this super cynical, ex-cop bodyguard, right? But he's also strangely resistant to Satan's influence. Like, other people are instantly corrupted or terrified, but Jericho just gets pissed off. And he's weirdly driven to protect Christine (Robin Tunney). It's not just a job, it feels almost… predestined? What if - HUGE if - what if Jericho isn't just a random bodyguard? What if he's some kind of fallen angel, or angelic descendant, sent to Earth specifically for this purpose, but he's forgotten his true nature because of all the bad stuff he's seen? Think about it. He's got this almost supernatural ability to survive insane situations. He can take a beating like no other. And the priest, Kovak, seems to imply that Jericho has a special purpose when he keeps talking about faith and fighting evil. Maybe the "end of days" isn't just about Satan taking over, but about Jericho rediscovering his own forgotten power. It would explain why Satan is so focused on corrupting him, not just killing him. Like, corrupting Jericho would be an even bigger victory. I know, I know, it's a bit of a stretch. But the movie kinda hints at it without ever fully committing. And honestly, it would make Jericho's character arc way more interesting than just "cynical guy learns to believe again." Let me know what y'all think! Am I totally off base here, or is there something to this "secret angel" theory?
