Erin Brockovich: Okay, Hear Me Out...

Alright, so I know, I know. Erin Brockovich isn't exactly blowing up cars or featuring dudes jumping out of planes. But stick with me here. My mom made me watch this YEARS ago, and admittedly I rolled my eyes at first. But think about it... Erin is basically a one-woman demolition crew! She busts into this corporate conspiracy with nothing but her uh, assets and a whole lotta attitude. The scene where she's telling off the PG&E guy? That's pure action hero stuff right there, just with less explosions and more legal jargon. Julia Roberts is surprisingly badass. I mean, she's not doing her own stunts or anything (obviously), but the way she just bulldozes through everyone who underestimates her is pretty awesome. That whole 'I'm not wearing a suit, so what?' vibe is her superpower. It's a different kind of fight, sure, but it's a fight nonetheless. And she wins. Big time. Okay, maybe I'm stretching it a bit calling this an action movie. But the underdog story, the righteous anger, the sheer force of will... it kinda hits the same notes for me. Plus, watching a giant corporation get taken down is always satisfying, no matter how it's done. So yeah, I'm putting Erin Brockovich on my list of 'surprisingly awesome movies even a stuntman can appreciate'. Don't judge me.
