Just Watched "Wanted" - Is This Peak 2000s Action?

Okay, so I just finished watching "Wanted" (2008). I'm going through some classics I missed, and this one popped up. I didn't even know who directed it (googled it: Timur Bekmambetov), but the plot sounded wild. Basically, this dude Wesley is a total loser until Angelina Jolie shows up and tells him his dad was an assassin and now he gets to be one too. Like, what?! Honestly, the bending bullets thing was kinda dumb, haha. But the action sequences were pretty cool, especially when they were jumping between rooftops or that whole train scene. James McAvoy was surprisingly good as the transforming everyman, though at first I was like, 'Professor X is gonna learn to shoot?' Angelina Jolie as Fox was, well, Angelina Jolie. She just is that character, you know? Something a bit cold and a bit too cool. The whole idea of the loom of fate felt a little out there (and maybe kinda ableist when you think about it?), but I'm willing to forgive it for the sake of entertainment. Samuel L. Jackson being Samuel L. Jackson as the main baddie, Sloan, was perfect. Did anyone else think the ending felt a little rushed? Overall, it was a fun, over-the-top action flick that I can see why it was popular. Not sure about rewatching it anytime soon, but I definitely don't regret it. So, what did you guys think? Did the bullet bending make anyone else laugh, or am I just a hater? Let me know your takes!
