Turbo: Conspiracy Theory in Plain Sight??

Okay, so I've seen Turbo... a LOT. Like, more than I care to admit to most people. It's a comfort movie, okay? Leave me alone. But on my latest re-watch, something REALLY struck me about Chet. Chet, Turbo's brother, right? The paranoid safety inspector? I think he KNEW. Specifically, remember the scene where Turbo first gets his super speed after falling into the car engine? Chet freaks out, obviously. But he doesn't just freak out like "Oh my god, my brother's glowing!" It's more like a horrified realization. He keeps saying, "It's not possible!" and "This can't be happening!" Like he's seen this before or heard whispers of it. My theory? Chet's not just a worrier, he's secretly aware of some kind of...snail super-soldier project or something. Maybe his constant safety inspections are actually him trying to prevent other snails from accidentally getting powers and being recruited or experimented on. Am I reaching? Probably. But think about it! They never explain WHY Chet is so obsessed with safety beyond just being a scaredy snail. It's almost TOO much. And the way he immediately tries to suppress Turbo's dreams feels less like brotherly concern and more like damage control. Like he knows what happens if Turbo embraces his speed...something bad. Maybe a secret elite snail racing league controlled by shadowy corporations? I don't know, I'm just spitballing here. It might be a stretch, but I can't shake the feeling. Also, small detail, but did anyone notice that Chet seems almost relieved when Turbo loses his powers at the end? Like, yeah, concerned for Turbo's safety, but also… "Phew, crisis averted." I need to rewatch again with this theory in mind. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe I'm just losing it.
