Biography

Born in Cheboksary, Chuvashskaya ASSR, RSFSR, USSR. Ballerina. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (10/21/1977). People's Artist of the Chuvashia ASSR (1980). People's Artist of the RSFSR (04/28/1982). People's Artist of the USSR (12/13/1984). Born into a large family, her parents are ethnic Chuvash. At the age of 7, she began studying in a choreographic circle at the House of Pioneers. In 1966, she was noticed by a commission from the Perm Choreographic School, which came to Cheboksary in search of gifted children, and Nadya was offered to study in Perm.
